Mountain Songs: A Cycle of American Folk Music
Robert Beaser has arranged eight folksongs from the American South for flute and guitar--actually, for the performers who play them on this disc. His treatments vary from simple settings to more complex elaborations, but they are always done with the kind of respect for his material that stamps him as an American Bartók. This is a truly lovely cycle, supplemented on the CD by such congenial material as Stephen Foster songs and MacDowell Woodland Sketches, all arranged by Eliot Fisk. Paula Robison and Fisk are both outstanding virtuosi on their instruments, and they have played together enough so that their teamwork is impeccable. This disc isn't challenging listening but it is very satisfying. --Leslie Gerber

This is one gorgeous deep black coat! Under light you can pick up just a little grayish sliver on the end hair tips. Salon grade and tanned to shed very little over the years. Made by Scandinavian Fur Company. This coat is insulated and is considered to be a warm deep winter coat. Has hidden hook closures. Hidden front pockets. Measures 32 inches long, 22 inches wide, 23 sleeve length is inches. Measure 20 inches from inside arm pit to opposite arm pit. Haynes Hunting also sells fur from it's tanned furs from it's taxidermy shop to create quality (top grade) fur coats. We also buy quality tanned furs from other folks and sew them into jackets or coats. We also purchase (only top grade) fur coats from storage facilities of people who quit paying storage, move or whatever. We also purchase drug seize merchandise and Internal Revenue confiscations. We get very expensive fur coats that we offer at a mere fraction of the original cost. So the coat you purchase could come from any of the sources. We simply obtain and resale to many fur coats to keep up with the origin of the exact coat you will get. We can promise you each coat is: 1. Real fur 2. It is quality tanned fur. 3. It is the exact coat in the picture. We are experienced and recognize quality fur criteria. We offer you a 7 day look-it-over-and-wear-it warranty. But we will not take back a coat that: 1. Has been damaged. 2. Has spillage on it of any kind. 3. Has been altered in any way. 4. Smells like smoke of any kind. We do keep our coats/jackets cool and dry and make sure a coat does not have extreme shedding problems or bald spots. All real furs will shed some over time. Some furs are dyed and many are produced from foreign countries. The coats we obtain from drug seizures sometimes have the linings ripped out to check for hidden drugs or money. We have to sew in quality replacement liners in about 50% of the coats we resale from civil service seizures.
